Take a Panel

Assignment: Find the white board with your number written on it. On your panel respond to the scenario and the questions provided below. Write what you know, think, feel, or imagine. Use words, diagrams and pictures to represent your ideas and thoughts.

Scenario
Today is November 10, 2025. You reflect back on the fact that 20 years ago you participated in a workshop, and possibly other meetings and activities, that explored how the Christian community could have a stronger impact on our culture and society, with a focus on the entertainment industry. You observe that there is significantly less need today (2025) for such a meeting because of the changes that have occurred for the better over the past two decades. There are tangible, concrete signs that the strategies and actions which resulted from the gathering back in 2005, as well as other initiatives over the past twenty years have made a difference.

Answer the following questions from your perspective:
1. What are the signs that things are better today (2025)? What do you see around you
that tells you that Christians are having a greater positive impact on our culture?
    How do you define success?
2. What was done over the past twenty years to make a difference? What strategies
were developed that resulted in the changes we were seeking?
3. What specific actions did we take to pursue these strategies? What did we do coming
out of the gathering in Nashville that made a difference?
4. What were the key things we needed to achieve the success we’ve experienced?
    What resources were necessary?
5. Other than resources, what were the key challenges and barriers we had to overcome
to achieve success? How did we overcome them?
6. What role did you personally play in these efforts? What are you most proud of?

Time: You have 30 minutes to complete this assignment, at which time you will be given further instructions.

Share a Panel

Find the other members of your team. Then take turns presenting your work to the other members of your team. Each team member should take no more than 3 minutes to describe their work.

When sharing your panel: Try not to repeat items from the previous team members; but report the "differences that makes a difference." Make your panel come to life for your team. When you have finished briefing the team on your panel, please place a check mark next to your name. DO NOT ERASE YOUR PANEL!

When listening to a panel presentation: Ask questions for clarity only. There will be time for discussion later. Continue on until all members have reported. Your entire team should have its reports completed within 30 minutes.
